Setting a Remote UI PIN

ou can set a PIN for access to the Remote UI. All users use a common PIN.

Tap <Menu> in the <Home> Screen.

Tap <System Management Settings>.
● If a scr
een for entering a PIN is displayed, enter the PIN with the numeric keys and tap <Apply>.

Select <Remote UI Settings>
<Remote UI Access Security Settings>.

Select <On>.

Specify the Remote UI Access PIN.
● Enter a number of up to se
ven digits using the numeric keys, and tap <Apply>.
● When <PIN (Conrm)> is displayed, enter the PIN once again to conrm.
● Y
ou cannot set a PIN that consists only of zeros, such as "00" or "0000000."
● Be sur
e not to forget the PIN. If you forget the PIN, set a new one again with the steps above.
If Remote UI settings are initialized
● The Remote UI Access PIN is also initialized. After an initialization, r
eset the PIN.
