Using Internet Fax (I-Fax)

The Internet Fax (I-Fax) function allo
ws you to send and receive faxes over the Internet. Originals are sent attached as
TIFF images ξ ΄les to e-mail. Since a telephone connection is not used, you can send faxes to distant locations and send
documents with many pages without worrying about communications charges. Some advance preparation is required,
such as specifying the mail server settings.
