The limited warranty set forth below is given by Canon U.S.A .. Inc. (Canon U.S.A.) in the United States or Canon Canada Inc. (Canon Canada) in
Canada with respect to the Canon brand EOS Digital Camera, as
we ll as with respect to the accessories packaged with this limited warranty (collectively
the "Products")". when purchased and used 1n the United States or canada. The Products are tne only Products towh1ch th1s limited warranty appl ies
Your Products, when delivered to
you in new condition in i ts original container. are war ranted against defects in materials or workmanship as follows
lor a period of one (1) year from the date ol original purchase, defective parts or defect1ve Products returned to Canon U.S A or Canon Canada.
or their authorized Products service providers. as applicable. and proven to be de fective upon inspection. will be repaired with new or comparable
rebuilt parts
ore~changed lor refurbished Products, as determined by Canon U.S.A. or Canon Canada, or the autnorized Products service provider
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY ACCESSORIES N OT MENTION ED ABOVE. Th is limited warranty shall only apply if the
Products are used in conjunction wit h compatible computer equi pment and compatible software , as to which i tems Canon U.S.A. or Canon
Canada shall have no responsibility
Non-Canon brand equipment and software that may be distributed with the Product s are sold "as Is " and without warranty of
any kind by Canon U.S .A . or Canon Canada, Including any Implied warranty regarding merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose, and all s uch warranties are discla i med . The sole warranty, if any , with the respect to such non-Canon brand i tems is
given by the manufacturer or producer thereof .
This limited warr anty covers all defects encountered in normal use of the Pr oducts . and does no t apply in the following cases·
(a)
Loss of or damage to the Products due to abuse. mishandling, improper packagi ng by you. alteration. accident. electrica l current
fl u ctuations , fail ure to follow operating. maintenance or env ir onmer~tal inst r uctions prescribed in Canon U.S. A.'s or Canon Canada 's
user's manual or services performed by someone other than Cano n U.S.A. or Canon Canada. or an authorized Products service
provider. Withou t limiting the foregoing . water damage . sand/corrosion damage . battery leakage , dropping the camera . scratches .
abrasions or dam age to the body , lenses or LCD display or damage to any of the Accessories mentioned in the first paragraph above wi ll
be presumed to have resulted from misuse. abuse or failure to operate the Products as set forth in the operating instructions
(b) Use of parts or supplies (other than those sold by Canon U.S.A. or Canon Canada) that cause damage to the Products or cause
abn ormallyfrequentservicecallsorserviceproblems
(c) If the Products had had their serial number or dat ing a ltered or removed

When you call, have your Products serial numb ers and you r date of purchase available to e~pedite se rvice. A Canon Customer Care
representative will attempt to di agnose the nature of the problem and correct it over the telephone . If the prob lem cannot be corrected over
the t elephone, you will be as ked to follow the appli cable procedures lor MAIL-IN SERVICE .
Note that a dated proof
of purchase is required at the time of service. This requirement will be satisfied by providing a copy of your dated bill of sale

MAIL-IN SERVICE
MAIL-IN SERVICE is a program under which your Products are repaired by a Canon U.S.A. or a Canon Canada authorized Products
service prov ider. You will be gi ven the name. address and phone number of an author i zed Products service provider , by contact i ng
1-800-0K-CANON ( 1-8 00-652-2666) (Canon U.S . A_ Customer Care representative I Canon Canada Customer Care representative ). It is
your responsibility to properly package and send the defective Products , together with a copy of your dated proof of purchase . a complete
explana t ion of the prob lem and a return address to the authorized Produ cts service provider at your e ~p ense. Do not i nclude any other
items with the defective Pr oducts . The defective Pr oducts covered by this limited warranty will be repaired and returned to you without
charge by the authorized Produc ts service provide r. Any Products received by the authorized Products service provider that are not covered
by the limited warranty will be r eturned unrepaired. or at the discretion of the authorized Prod uct s service provider, you may re ceive a
written esti mate of repair at such cost as the service provider may establ ish from time to time
This ti mrte d warranty gives yo u specific legal ri ghts, and you may also have other rights. which vary f rom state to state (or province to province in Canada)
"The bat t ery pack packaged with the Products carries a separate ninety (90) day limited warranty
