If there is a problem, first refer
to
this Troubleshooting Guide. If this
Troubleshooting Guide does,not resolve the problem, contact your
dealer
or
nearest Canon Service Center.

• Do not recharge anybattery pack other than Battery Pack BP-511

BP-514, BP-511,
or
BP-512..
• The battery is not properly installed in the camera. (p.26)
• Make sure the battery compartment cover is closed. (p.26).
• ' Make sure the CF card slot cover is closed. (p.28)
• Use a fUlly-charged battery. (p.24)
• The rechargeable battery will degrade after repeated use. Purchase a
new one.
• Auto power off is in effect.
If
you do not want auto power off to take
effect, set the
[t~.
Auto
power
off] menu to [Off].
• Recharge the battery. (p.24)
