Menu Options
* Option available only when the optional GP-E2 GPS Receiver is attached to the camcorder.
[Fan] [k Automatic], [i On] (A 42)
[Wireless Remote Control] [i On], [j Off ]
Allows the camcorder to be operated with the wireless controller.
[POWER LED], [Tally Lamp],
[ACCESS LED], [ LED]

These settings determine whether the following LEDs and indicators will illuminate.
[POWER LED]: The green POWER/CHG indicator (only when it serves as power indicator).
[Tally Lamp]: When this setting is set to [i On], the tally lamp illuminates while the camcorder is
recording, the wireless controller is operated, the battery level is low or an SD card is full. The
tally lamp is located on the handle unit so make sure you attach it to the camcorder in advance.
[ACCESS LED]: The ACCESS indicator when the camcorder is accessing an SD card.
[ LED]: The (Ethernet) indicator when the camcorder is accessing a wired network.

[Assignable Button 1] to

Following are the default settings for each assignable button. For a complete list of the

[Battery Info]
When you are using a battery pack that is compatible with Intelligent System, this option displays a
screen where you can verify the battery charge (as a percentage) and the remaining recording time
( mode) or playback time ( mode).
If the battery pack is exhausted, the battery information may not be displayed.

Load or save menu settings and custom picture files between the camcorder and the SD card B.

[GPS Information Display]*
When the optional GP-E2 GPS Receiver is attached to the camcorder, the following settings become
available:
[GPS Auto Time Setting]: You can have the camcorder automatically set the time based on the
information acquired from GPS. For more details, refer to Setting Time from GPS on the Camera in
the receiver's instruction manual.
[GPS Information Display]: Displays the current GPS information. For more details, refer to Viewing
GPS Information in the receiver's instruction manual.
[Certification Logo Display]
Displays certification logos that apply to this camcorder.
This option may not be available depending on the country/region of purchase.
[Firmware]
Displays the current firmware version of the camcorder.
This option is usually unavailable.
[Reset All] [No], [Yes]
Resets all the camcorder's settings to default values/settings.
