If focusing is not possible with autofocus, you can magnify the image
and focus manually.

1 Set the lens's focus mode switch to
<MF>.
• Turn the lens focusing ring to focus
roughly.
2 Magnify the image.
• Press the
<Q.
> button, then the
<INFO>
button.
3 Move the magnified area.
• Move the area horizontally by turning
the <
~
> dial
or
vertically by turning
the <
~
> dial. You can also move
the area by pressing the <
◄}
> cross
keys.
•
To
center the magnified area again,
press the <
ffiJ
> button.
