Correction of Lens Aberrations due to Optical Characteristics
3 Select [Enable].
• Confirm that the name of the attached
lens and ( except for diffraction
correction) (Correction data
available] are displayed.
• Select [Enable], then press <SET>.
4 Take the picture.
• The image captured will have lens I
aberration corrected.
The lens correction data for lens aberration corrections is registered
(stored) in the camera. With [Enable] selected, the peripheral illumination
correction, distortion correction, Digital Lens Optimizer, chromatic aberration
correction, and diffraction correction will be applied automatically.
For lenses incorporating the correction data, it is not necessary to
register the correction data to the camera.
