Photos
Taking Photos
You can record photos to SD card B (only) when the camcorder is in record standby mode. The photo size is the
same, regardless of the video configuration currently in use.
1 Set an assignable button to [Photo] (A 117).
2 When the camcorder is in record standby mode, press the assignable button to take a photo.

and the number of available photos appear at the top right of the screen. The maximum number of
available photos displayed on the screen is 9999.

access indicator will illuminate in red as the photo is being recorded.
• You can also press the PHOTO button on the supplied wireless controller.
IMPORTANT
• Observe the following precautions while the SD CARD

access indicator is illuminated in red. Failure to do
so may result in permanent data loss.
- Do not open the SD CARD 3 card slot cover and do not remove the card.
- Do not disconnect the power source or turn off the camcorder.
NOTES
• Photos cannot be taken in the following cases:
- When pre-recording is activated.
- When slow motion recording is activated.
- When Browser Remote is activated.
• If the LOCK switch on the SD card is set to prevent writing, you will not be able to record photos. Change the
position of the LOCK switch in advance.
Photo Numbering
Photos are automatically assigned consecutive numbers and stored on the SD card in folders. You can select
the photo numbering method to be used.
1 Select [Photo Numbering].
> [3 " Recording/Media Setup] > [Photo Numbering]
2 Select the desired option and then press SET.
