Silent Shooting

You can shoot silently, using the sensor’s electronic shutter feature,
instead of with the mechanical shutter normally used in still photo
shooting. This is useful when shooting where the camera must be
quiet.

As you shoot, a white frame is
momentarily displayed around the
screen.

Be responsible when using silent shooting, and respect subject privacy
and portrait rights.

Images of fast-moving subjects may look distorted.
o
Continuous shooting, AEB shooting, and ash photography are not
available.
o
Under some shooting conditions, lens aperture adjustment may be
audible.
