rmmJ Setting the Image-recording Quality
One-touch RAW+JPEG*
I
Select RAW or JPEG.
.~ Turn the < 0 > dial and select RAW or
JPEG, then press <@>.
Select the image-recording
quality.
~ Turn the < 0 > dial to select the image-
recording quality, then press
<@>.
Take the picture.
~ Press the < rp~~ > button.
~*' The image-recording quality will blink
on the LCD panel.
To cancel the
setting, press the
< f~~ > button again.
0$ Press the shutter button completely to
take the picture.
1&'" After the picture is taken, the setting
will be canceled.

If the current recording quality is JPEG only, you can press the < r~~ >
button to also capture a RAW image (~ by default) at the same
time. If the current recording quality is RAW only, press the button to
also capture a JPEG image
(.l by default).
This button will not work if the camera is already set (p.58) to
capture RAW and JPEG images at the same time.
1 Select [One-touch RAW+JPEG].
.~ Under the [OI=] tab, select [One-
touch RAW+JPEG], then press
<@>.
[]] 1& This setting can also be combined with white balance bracketing and AEB shooting.
1& You can also cancel the setting by pressing the <[9]>, <MENU>, <~:~>,
or < [E > button or operating the Live View shooting/Movie shooting
switch
or power switch.
