set the exposure compensation.

the movie shooting mode and Creative Zone modes, the setting will be
the same for the Picture Style, white balance, image-recording quality,
and exposure compensation (except
M).
Shooting Still Photos
You can take a still photo at anytime by
pressing the shutter button completely,
even during movie shooting.

transparent mask.

If you take a still photo during movie shooting, the movie will have a
still segment for about 1 sec.

The captured still photo will be recorded to the card, and the movie
shooting will resume automatically when the Live View image is

The card will record the movie and still photo as separate files.
