Movie Settings

[l] $i By holding down the <Av~> button and turning the <£83> dial, you can
set the exposure compensation.
@ In the movie shooting mode and Creative Zone modes, the setting will be
the same for the Picture Style, white balance, image-recording quality,
and exposure compensation (except
M).
Shooting Still Photos
You can take a still photo at anytime by
pressing the shutter button completely,
even during movie shooting.
Taking Still Photos During Movie Shooting
@ The still photo will record the entire screen including the semi-
transparent mask.
%B If you take a still photo during movie shooting, the movie will have a
still segment for about 1 sec.
0!t The captured still photo will be recorded to the card, and the movie
shooting will resume automatically when the Live View image is
I
displayed.
0!t The card will record the movie and still photo as separate files.
%B Functions particular to still shooting are shown below. Other
functions will be the same as for movie shooting.
