Selecting the AF Method
With the AF method set to [~+Tracking), you can shoot with the eyes of
people or animals in focus.

1 Select [ AF : Eye detection].
2 Select [Enable].
3 Aim the camera at the subject.
• An AF point is displayed around their
eye.
• To choose a face to focus on, press the
<EB> button to change the AF point to
[ ( ) ] and use < ~¼~ >. As you use < ~¼~ >,
the AF point changes again to [ ◄ : :►].
• You can also tap the screen to choose
an eye.
• If your selected eye is not detected, an
eye to focus on is selected automatically.
4 Take the picture.
