Manual Exposure Compensation
Exposure compensation can brighten (increased exposure) or darken
( decreased exposure) the standard exposure set by the camera.
Exposure compensation can be set in the
<fv>,
<P>,
<Tv>,
<Av>,
and
<M>
shooting modes.
Increased exposure

1 Check the exposure.
Press the shutter button halfway and
check the exposure level indicator.
l Set the compensation amount.
Set
it by looking at the screen as you
turn
the<

> dial.

icon is displayed to indicate
exposure compensation.
3 Take the picture.
To
cancel exposure compensation, set
the exposure level indicator

to the
standard exposure index
(<I>).
