The li mited warranty set fo<1h below is given by Canon U. S.A. , Inc . ( Canon USA ) in the United States or Canon Canada In c. ( Canon Canada ) in Canada wi th respect to the Canon Imaging Products (see
List A on Warranty Card) , as well as with respect to the accesS0<1eS packaged with this limited warranty ( collectJvety the "Pr oducts · )" . when purchased and used in the United States or Canada . The
Products are the only Products to which this limited warranty applies .
Your Products , when delivered to you ,n new oorldrtion in its ong,nal container , are warranted against defects ,n materials or wor'<manship as follows: for a period of one (1) year from the date of original
purchase , defective parts or defective Products returned to Canon U. S.A. or Canon Canada, or their authonzed Products service provldeis , as applicable , arid proven to be defectJve upon inspection , will
be repaired with new or comparable rebuilt parts or exchanged for refurbished Products, as determined by Canon U.S.A. or Canon Canada . or the authorized Products seMCe provider

Th,s limited warranty covers all defects encountered in normal use of the Products , and does no/ apply in the following cases :
(a) Loss of or damage to the Products due to abuse , m,shandling , improper packaging by you , alteration , accident , electncal current fluctuations , failure to follow operating . maintenance or
environmental instruclJons prescribed in Canon U. S.A .' s or Canon Canada' s user ' s manual or services pertormed by someone other than Canon U. S.A. or Canon Canada , or an authonzed
Products service provider . Without li miting the foregoing , water damage , sand/oonrosion damage , battery leakage , dropping the camera , scratches , abrasions or damage to the body , lenses or LCD
display or damage to any of the Accessories mentioned ,n the fiist paragraph above will be presumed to have resulted from m,suse , abuse or failure to operate the Products as set forth in the
operat i ng instructions .
(b) Use of parts or supplies ( other than those sold by Canon U. S.A. or Canon Canada) that cause damage to the Products or cause abn o rmally frequent service calls or service problems .
( c) If the Products had had their serial number or datng altered or removed

When you call , have your Products senal numbelS and your date of purchase available to expedite service. A Canon Customer Care representative will attempt to diagnose the nature of the problem and
oorrect ,t over the telephone . If the problem cannot be corrected over the telephone , you will be asked to follow the applicable procedures for MAIL-IN SERVICE .
Note that a dated proof of pur ch ase is required at the bme of service This requirement will be satisfied by providing a copy of your dated bill of sale

MAIL - IN SERV I CE
MAIL-IN SERVICE ,s a program under which your Products are repaired by a Canon U. S.A. or a Canon Canada authonzed Products service provider . You will be given the name , address and phone
number of an authorized Products service provider , by contacting 1-800-0K-CANON (1-800-652-2666) ( Canon U. S.A. Customer Care representative / Canon Canada Customer Care representative ). It is
your responsibility to property package and send the defective Products , together with a copy of your dated proof of purchase , a complete explanation of the problem and a retum address to the
authonzed Products service provider at your expense . Do no/ include any other rtems with the defective P roducts . The defectJve Products covered by th,s limited wanranty will be r epaired and returned to
you wrthout charge by the authonzed Products service provider. Any Products received by the authorized Products serv i ce provider that are not covered by the limited warranty will be returned unrepa,red ,
or at the discretion of the authonzed Products service provider , you may receive a wntten estimate of repair at such cost as the service provider may establish from time to time
