Network functions and connection types
Using a Wired (Ethernet) Network
Connect a commercially available Ethernet cable to the camera’s (Ethernet) terminal to use a wired network.
Use Category 5e or better shielded twisted pair (STP) Ethernet cables compatible with Gigabit Ethernet
(1000BASE-T) and with good shielding capability. For more details about the Ethernet adapter and Ethernet
cables, refer to the manufacturer’s instruction manual.
