Except in the <A>, <7>, and <G> Basic Zone modes, you can
select the ambience for shooting.

Set the Mode Dial to any of the
following modes: <C>, <2>,
<3>, <4>, <5>, <6>, or <F>.

Display the Live View image.
With the Live View image displayed,
you can see the ambience effect.
Press the <A> button to switch to
Live View shooting.

On the Quick Control screen,
select the desired ambience.
Press the <Q> button (7).
Press the <V> key to select [
Standard setting]. [Ambience-
based shots] will appear on the
screen.
Press the <U> key or turn the
<6> dial to select the desired
ambience.

The LCD monitor will show how the image
will look with the selected ambience.
