2 Open the printer’s Properties dialog box.
● If you are using Windows 2000:

On the taskbar, click [Start] ➞ point to [Settings] ➞ click [Printers].
❑ Right click the printer icon of the printer you installed in step 1.
❑ On the pop-up menu, click [Properties].
● If you are using Windows XP:

On the taskbar, click [Start] ➞ click [Printers and Faxes].
❑ Right click the printer icon of the printer you installed in step 1.
❑ On the pop-up menu, click [Properties].
