Using the Operator Panel
■ POWER button
Press to switch the printer on and off.
■ POWER light
Indicates the status of the printer:
•
Off—Printer power off
•
On—Standby and ready for operation
•
Flashes green—Print job in progress
•
Flashes orange—Error; remove cause of error before you resume printing
■ RESUME button
After you have removed the cause of a printer error, press to resume printing.
Press and hold the
RESUME button for the required number of beeps and then
release to perform these special tasks:
•
1 Beep—Print head cleaning
•
2 Beeps—Printing Nozzle Check Pattern
•
3 Beeps—Cleaning the feed rollers
You can also initiate these tasks using the printer driver.
