1.3 Troubleshooting by Error Indications
<Cause> Initial ROM data cannot be read
<Suspected Parts> Control ROM
<Measures> Replace the ROM or the control board
<Cause> RAM readout/write-on cannot be executed properly
<Suspected Parts> DRAM, MPU and print controller
<Measures> Replace the control board
<Cause> EEPROM readout cannot be executed properly
<Suspected Parts> EEPROM, MPU and print controller
<Measures> Replace the control board
In the event of ROM or RAM errors, errors may not be properly displayed.
<Cause> Thermistor is abnormal
<Suspected Parts> Thermistor
<Measures> Replace the control board
<Cause> The waste ink absorber's estimated waste ink amount
has reached 100% or 95%
<Suspected Parts> Waste ink absorber, control board
<Measures>1. Reset the EEPROM and replace the waste ink
absorber.
2. Replace the control board
