Using Maintenance Functions
With the printer driver’s Maintenance tab, you can access various functions that affect how
your printer performs.
■ Cleaning the Print Heads
Cleaning the print heads clears the nozzles. There are two ways to clean the print heads:
normal print head cleaning and deep print head cleaning. Always try normal print head
cleaning first. If this doesn’t correct the problem, then try deep print head cleaning.
Cleaning the print heads uses up a lot of ink, so only do it when absolutely
necessary.
