Using Maintenance Functions
■ Changing the BJ Cartridge
Open the Canon BJC-55 Properties or Canon BJC-55 Printing Preferences
dialog box and click the Maintenance tab.
Click the Change BJ Cartridge button and click OK. The cartridge holder
moves to the center.
Change the BJ Cartridge and press the CARTRIDGE button.
Click OK to close the Change BJ Cartridge dialog box.
■ Turning the Printer On and Off
You can turn the printer on and off from the Canon BJC-55 Properties or Canon BJC-55
Printing Preferences dialog box.
In addition, the Auto Power feature can turn the printer off if no data has been sent to the
printer for a certain period and turn the printer back on when data is sent to the printer.
Turning the printer off
Open the Canon BJC-55 Properties or Canon BJC-55 Printing Preferences
dialog box and click the Maintenance tab.
Click the Power Off button on the left.
When a confirmation message appears, click OK.
The printer is turned off.
