Problems and Solutions
Make sure that the power outlet is usable by connecting another electrical
appliance to it and turning it on.
Make sure that the interface cable is connected properly.
Interface cable could be defective. Replace it with a new interface cable and
resume printing.
If your system contains a printer switching device, a USB hub, or an external
buffer, remove the device and try connecting the printer directly to the computer.
If the printer operates normally without the switching device, the USB hub, or the
external buffer, contact the manufacturer of that device.
Check to see if the Canon BJC-55 printer has been selected as the default printer

Check to see if the printer port setting is correct
If the printer and the computer are connected to the USB interface, USBPRNxx: must be
selected as the printer port.
