[Trace & Smooth]
Send Files That Can Be Edited by Illustration Software
This mode enables you to convert the text and the graphics to
scalable outline data. The outline data (Trace) can be extracted and
used in a specic illustrator software.
[Encrypt]
Encrypt Scanned Documents to Send
You can convert a scanned original into a PDF le and set a password
for it. You can also restrict print and edit functions.
<Divide Data>
Divide Large Data and Send
The data is divided into multiple parts before being sent if the size of
the data being sent exceeds the value set for the maximum data size.
Check that the recipient can combine the divided data before setting
this mode.
To specify the <Divide Data> settings, press [New Destination] →
[E-Mail].

[OCR (Text Searchable)]
Send Text Searchable Files
This mode enables you to perform OCR on a scanned original to
create a le with searchable text, and then send the le. You can use
the text as a text data.
