You can update the firmware using the data that is
distributed separately from the machine.

If the machine is connected to an outside
network, you can update to a most recent
firmware by linking with the delivery server.
Using the Touch Panel
Display to Update (Delivery)
You can update the firmware of the machine from the touch
panel display.
To perform the procedures described in this section, you must
log in to the machine as an administrator. (See “Logging In
from the Touch Panel Display,” on p. 8.)
Checking the New Firmware/Specifying the
Delivery Settings
You can check the new firmware that is applicable with the
machine and specify the delivery settings.
If the delivery settings are specified, downloaded firmware
and delivery reservations are deleted. Confirm before
specifying the settings.

Press → [Management Settings] → [License/
Other] → [Register/Update Software].

Press [Update Firmware].

Press [New Firmware].
Contact the delivery server for information on whether an
applicable new firmware is available or not.
If a new applicable firmware is not available, an error message
is displayed.

Verify the displayed information → press [Next].
Details of each item are shown below.
Version: Displays the version of the current firmware.
Applicable Firmware: Displays the new firmware that is
applicable with the machine.
