Setting Up the Machine for the First Time

Press [Register/Edit].

Press [Register New Dest.].

Press [File].

Enter the new name → press [Next].
In this example, ‘Original’ is entered.

Specify the following settings → press [OK].
[Protocol]: Windows(SMB)
[Host Name]: \\user-1\share
[User Name]: user_name
[Password]: password
For [Host Name], enter ‘\\<name of your computer>\<name
of the shared folder>’.
For [Folder Path], enter ‘\\<name of a folder inside the
shared folder>’. This can be omitted as necessary.

Press [Close].

Press [OK].
Sending Scanned Data to a Shared Folder
Send a scanned original to the shared folder registered in
“Storing New Destinations,” on p. 27.

Place your originals.
