SO EASY TO MANAGE, MOST PEOPLE ALREADY KNOW HOW.
Enhanced workflow starts at the Command WorkStation,
standard with the new and advanced Color Network
Printer Board-B1. A Windows-based, intuitive, graphical user-interface, allows you to control job settings, monitor
print queues, merge pages, delete pages, and customize documents from a centralized location. Log-in sliders,
located in the Queue window, provide secured access to the server. Different levels of access may be assigned for
operators, administrators, and guest usage. Four windows provide a powerful set of management tools:
Queue Window—offers a dynamic view of the job staging area, using status bars to display Spooling,
RIPping, and Printing jobs in progress.
Job Archive Window—lets users archive jobs in raster or PostScript format for quick reprinting.
Job Log Window—displays and creates records for jobs printed to the Color Network Printer Board.
FreeForm
Window—lets users create personalized and variable copy for custom layouts (optional).
Connecting the Color imageRUNNER C2058 is effortless, too, thanks to Canon’s proprietary NetSpot
®
Device Management Software. With cross-platform compatibility and support for all popular network
environments, NetSpot speeds and simplifies the configuration of network printing devices and offers
unprecedented desktop management. Available to systems administrators and end-users from anywhere
on the network, it allows workgroups to view job status, toner/paper levels, availability, and features of
printing resources, before deciding which printer to use. And, by giving administrators setup, manage-
ment, and control of all network devices, it makes it easy to optimize workgroup productivity.
