EF CINEMA ZOOM LENSES
Key Features
PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS
Canon EF Cinema zoom lenses are designed and
engineered to offer extraordinary optical
performance for demanding high-end productions,
meeting and exceeding the exacting standards of
working professionals. Available in EF and PL mount
configurations, two amazing zoom lenses cover the range most commonly
used in cinema shooting: the wide-angle CN-E14.5-60mm T2.6 L S (EF mount)
and CN-E14.5-60mm T2.6 L SP (PL mount) provide industry-leading breadth
of range, and the telephoto CN-E30-300mm T2.95–3.7 L S (EF mount) and
CN-E30-300mm T2.95–3.7 L SP (PL mount) rivals best-in-class zoom magnification
and telephoto focal length. Designed to fulfill contemporary 4K production standards,
these phenomenal lenses will surpass the performance requirements of any HD imaging
system. They feature advanced optical design with fluorite and large aspherical lens elements
to achieve sharp, consistent images throughout their zoom range. Furthermore, computer
simulation based on the ISO Color Contribution Index (CCI) is employed to achieve a tight color
reproduction match between the two lenses. These lenses also incorporate geared inner focusing
to minimize focus-induced changes in the angle of view, while 11-blade aperture diaphragms ensure
beautiful bokeh. Innovative glass construction counteracts barrel expansion and contraction to
avoid temperature-induced marking discrepancies.
