document with an XML le and distributes to Quick Connect destinations.

Reduced data entry errors Extender can be congured to write XML and CSV index les containing the

metadata, e.g., date, time, le path, and barcode values.

Index legal matter quickly Law rms and legal departments can further streamline document management

and distribution by automatically capturing Client ID, Matter ID, and Billing Codes

from barcodes and passing the index values to eCopy Connectors for Interwoven

Worksite, Open Text Livelink eDOCS DM, and Captaris RightFax.

Batch scanning Barcode recognition streamlines scanning for consistent and error-free batch

processing. Using all common barcode fonts, the Barcode Recognition Extender

automatically splits scanned les into separate les, using barcodes to identify the

beginning of a new le. Barcodes can be on existing pages or on separate barcode

cover pages and can be read anywhere on any page.
