When assigning functions to buttons with Custom

Controls, the [<

> detailed settings] item will display

at the bottom left of the setting screen. By pressing the

> button at this time, it is possible to perform

detailed settings for the assign function.

With the EOS-1D X Mark II, [Switch only when btn is

held] and [Switch each time btn is pressed] detailed

settings have been added to [One-Shot

AF Servo] and

[Switch to registered AF point] function assignments. For

example, even when you want to use [One-Shot AF] and

[AI Servo AF] at about the same ratio, the [Switch each

time btn is pressed] detailed setting is effective.

In addition, [Direction: AF point switchin] and [Direction:

Zone AF frame switch] detailed settings are possible for

function assignment of [Direct AF point selection] to the

Quick Control Dial.

You can utilize the detailed settings to carry out

customization for even greater ease of use.
