You can perform crop shooting, or shoot with the set aspect ratio for
Live View shooting. To set them with the menu, see page 99.
If you use [83: Custom Controls] to
assign [Switch between crop/aspect]
to the <B> button, you can just
press the <B> button while
displaying Live View image to switch the
Crop/aspect setting.

You can set the AF method to [u(face)+Tracking] (p.126) or
[FlexiZone - Single] (p.128) to suit the shooting conditions or subject.
If you want to achieve precise focus, set the lens’s focus mode switch to
<MF>, magnify the image, and focus manually (p.129).
Select the AF method.
Under the [z5] tab (the [z3] tab in
<A>), select [AF method].
Select the desired AF method, then
press <0>.
When the Live View image is
displayed, you can press the
<o> button to select the AF
method.
