Canon’s new EOS C700 FF top-end digital cinema camera features a
full-frame 5.9K CMOS sensor designed to meet an extensive range
of production needs. The sensor provides higher resolution and
produces footage with shallower depth of field than Canon cameras
with Super 35mm sized sensors, giving filmmakers a variety of creative
options. Capable of ProRes and XF-AVC internal recording up to 4K to
CFast™ cards, the camera can also record 5.9K RAW up to 60 frames
per second with the optional Codex CDX-36150 Recorder. The camera
uses the full 5.9K of the sensor to create oversampled 4K, resulting
in improved video quality. Available in EF and PL mount versions, the
EF mount camera includes Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology.
The EOS C700 Digital Cinema Camera incorporates what Canon has
learned through professional feedback since the original Cinema
EOS C300 was announced. Designed for a wide range of shooting
scenarios, the EOS C700 features both internal 4K ProRes and XF-AVC
recording, and can record uncompressed RAW up to 120 frames per
second with the optional 4K Codex CDX-36150 recorder. The EF and PL
mount versions of the camera feature pixel resolution up to 4.5K and a
dynamic range of 15 stops, while the EOS C700 GS PL features 14 stops
of dynamic range, up to 4.2K resolution and a global shutter.
The EOS C300 Mark II Digital Cinema Camera is a 2nd generation Cinema EOS 4K
camera system with powerful features including 4K/2K/Full HD internal and external
recording (including 4K RAW output), a 10-bit Canon Log 2 Gamma and an 8.85
Megapixel Canon Super 35mm 16:9 CMOS image sensor. It helps deliver creative
flexibility to professional studio applications, independent productions and more.
The EOS C200 and EOS C200B Digital Cinema Cameras bring high-quality
digital imaging at an affordable price for applications from film to newsgathering.
They can capture 4K RAW to a CFast™ Card† in our storage-friendly Cinema
RAW Light format and provide a multitude of features, with the EOS C200
including a built-in electronic viewfinder and numerous accessories.
† Only CFast™ 2.0 with VPG-130 is supported.
Featuring Canon’s innovative Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology, the
EOS C100 Mark II Digital HD camera provides advanced image processing
for enhanced color resolution. Improved ergonomics and a tiltable electronic
viewfinder help provide for a comfortable handling experience. It can record
a variety of frame rates and codecs, including 1080/60p and MP4 files,
offering vast potential to independent production companies, documentary
filmmakers and event videographers.
