4 Clip marks and shot marks buttons
When recording, you can flag important frames in a clip by adding shot marks or tag important clips by
adding clip marks (A 109).
To add a shot mark
: While recording a clip, touch/click [Shot Mark 1] or [Shot Mark 2].
To add a clip mark
: After recording a clip, touch/click [ Mark] to add an $ mark to the clip, or [ Mark] to
add a % mark to the clip.
NOTES
Depending on the Wi-Fi connection’s strength, there may be delay of 0.5 seconds or more between the
frame shown when you touch/click the button and the frame to which the camera adds the shot mark.
5 Browser Remote screen selection ([Full Control User] only)
Touch/click [v] to open the main remote recording screen, [ ] to open the metadata screen (A 132) or
[ ] to open the basic screen for devices with a small screen (A 131).
6 Language selection
Changes the language used for controls in the [ ] (metadata input) screen and for error messages. Still,
most of the application’s controls emulate physical buttons on the camera and appear in English only,
regardless of the language selected.
7 Key lock button
Touch/click the icon to lock the Browser Remote screens in order to prevent settings from being changed
inadvertently.
8[D Touch Focus] button
Touch/click the button to unlock (enable) the touch focus mode.
9 [START/STOP] button
Touch/click the button to start recording. While recording, the center of the button turns red.
Touch/click the button again to stop recording.
10 Recording media selection and approximate remaining recording time
The currently selected CFast card is indicated with a Ð mark next to the icon.
Remaining recording times are approximate and calculated based on the current video configuration used.
11 [SLOT SELECT] button
Touch/click the button to select the other CFast card when both CFast card slots contain a CFast card.
12 Current camera settings
This panel displays an overview of the camera settings currently used. You can change camera settings with
the controls in the detailed camera settings panel (14) on the right.

Touch/click one of the tabs at the bottom to select the camera settings you wish to adjust:
[ND]: ND filter [Iris]: Aperture (F value or T value)
[ISO]/[Gain]: ISO speed or gain value [Shutter]: Shutter speed
[AE]: AE shift [WB]: White balance
[White Balance]: White balance mode and related settings.
[Exposure]: Exposure related settings –aperture, shutter speed and ISO/speed gain–.
[Focus]: Focus related settings.
[Zoom]: Zoom operation (only when using a CINE-SERVO CN7x17 KAS S/E1 lens).
