[Other Settings] > [White Balance]
Adjusts the amount of white balance throughout the whole image.
[R Gain]: Adjust the intensity of red tones. This setting can be adjusted from –50 to 50. (Default: ±0)
[B Gain]: Adjust the intensity of blue tones. This setting can be adjusted from –50 to 50. (Default: ±0)
[Other Settings] > [Color Correction]
The camera detects the characteristics of a certain color (color phase, chroma, area and Y level) and corrects
them when recording. You can set the color correction for up to two different areas (A and B). While adjusting
one of the [Area A Setting] or [Area B Setting] settings, a zebra pattern will appear on the LCD screen or a
monitor connected to the MON. terminal over areas of the image detected as having the characteristics
specified for area A or area B.
[Select Area]: Selects the area or areas to correct. Available options are [Area A], [Area B] and [Area A&B].
Select [Off] to turn this setting off. (Default: [Off])
[Area A Setting Phase], [Area B Setting Phase]: Adjusts the color phase for area A or B, respectively. This setting
can be adjusted from 0 to 31. (Default: 0)
[Area A Setting Chroma], [Area B Setting Chroma]: Adjusts the color saturation for area A or B, respectively. This
setting can be adjusted from 0 to 31. (Default: 16)
[Area A Setting Area], [Area B Setting Area]: Adjusts the color range for area A or B, respectively. This setting can
be adjusted from 0 to 31. (Default: 16)
[Area A Setting Y Level], [Area B Setting Y Level]: Adjusts the brightness for area A or B, respectively. This setting
can be adjusted from 0 to 31. (Default: 16)
[Area A Revision Level], [Area B Revision Level]: Adjusts the amount of correction to the color saturation in area A
or B, respectively. This setting can be adjusted from –50 to 50. (Default: ±0)
[Area A Revision Phase], [Area B Revision Phase]: Adjusts the amount of correction to the color phase in area A
or B, respectively. This setting can be adjusted from –18 to 18. (Default: ±0)
[Other Settings] > [Other Functions]
[Setup Level]: Adjusts the black level set by the [Black] > [Master Pedestal] setting. When [Gamma] is set to
one of the Canon Log settings, this setting has no effect on the picture. This setting can be
adjusted from –50 to 50. (Default: ±0)
[Over 100%]: This function determines how the camera handles video signals exceeding 100%. Available
options are [Through] to do nothing, [Clip] to clip the signal at 100%, and [Press] to compress a
signal of up to 108% down to 100% levels. (Default: [Through])
NOTES
•If [/ Custom Picture] > [Other Settings] > [Activate] is set to [On], when an optional RC-V100 Remote
Controller is connected to the camera, the following custom picture settings can be changed using the
buttons and dials on the remote controller.
- [Other Settings] > [Black] > [Master Pedestal], [Master Black Red], [Master Black Blue]
- [Other Settings] > [Black Gamma] > [Level]
- [Other Settings] > [Knee] > [Slope], [Point] (only when [Knee] > [Activate] is set to [On])
- [Other Settings] > [Sharpness] > [Level]
- [Other Settings] > [White Balance] > [R Gain], [B Gain]
