Using the Optional LM-V1 LCD Monitor
You can connect the optional LM-V1 LCD Monitor to the camera’s VIDEO terminal and use the LM-V1’s touch
screen for certain focus-related functions. Note that you cannot use the optional LA-V1 LCD Attachment Unit to
attach the LM-V1 to the camera.

1 Set the
Q switch to OFF.
2 Using a supplied UN-5 Unit Cable, connect the camera’s VIDEO terminal to the LCD monitor’s VIDEO terminal.
•Align the Í marks on the cables’ plugs and terminals.
• To remove the unit cable, pull back the metallic tip of the plug then disconnect the cable from the terminal.
