Slow & Fast Motion Recording

Slow & Fast Motion Recording
The camera can record using a progressive frame rate (shooting frame rate) that is different from the playback
frame rate. Recording a clip at a higher frame rate than the [Frame Rate] setting will result in a slow motion effect
during playback. Conversely, a lower frame rate will result in a fast motion effect.
In most cases, sound is not recorded when slow & fast motion recording is activated. However, sound will be
recorded if the main recording format is set to [XF-AVC (CFast)] and the shooting frame rate is the same as the
frame rate in the video configuration.
For details about slow & fast motion recording when using a CDX-36150 Recorder docked with the camera,
refer to
Recording with the CDX-36150 Recorder
(A 206).

Available shooting frame rates (XF-AVC)
1
When the shooting frame rate is higher than 30 fps, the bit rate will change to 360 Mbps if the frame rate is 23.98P or 24.00P.
2
When the shooting frame rate is 125 fps or higher, the bit rate will change to 170 Mbps if the frame rate is 59.94P or 50.00P.
3
When the shooting frame rate is 125 fps or higher, the bit rate will change to 90 Mbps for other frame rate settings.
