Manual Exposure (M Mode)

You can set both the shutter speed and aperture manually as desired. While

referring to the exposure level indicator in the viewnder, you can set the

exposure as desired. This method is called manual exposure.

* <a> stands for Manual.

Set the Mode Dial to <a>.

Set the ISO speed (=

118).

Set the shutter speed and aperture.

 To set the shutter speed, turn the <6>

dial.

 To set the aperture, turn the <6> dial

while holding down the <g> button.

Focus on the subject.

 Press the shutter button halfway.

B The exposure setting will be displayed in

the viewnder.

 Check the exposure level mark <h> to

see how far the current exposure level is

from the standard exposure level.
