Shooting Video and Taking Photos
• About the zoom: The camcorder features three types of zoom (optical,
advanced and digital) when recording movies.

• About the zoom speed: The zoom lever
is set to a variable speed. That is,
the zoom speed depends on how you press the lever: press gently for
slower zooms; press harder for faster zooms. You can also change the
zoom speed to one of three constant speeds.

In most situations, keep at least 1 m (3.3 ft.) away from the subject. The
minimum focusing distance at full wide angle
is 1 cm (0.39 in.).
