Changing/Deleting a Coded Speed Dialing Entry
The Function key will light up by pressing Function to be able to operate Space, Delete or Clear.

Use 4 (–) or e (+) to select 2.CODED
SPD DIAL.

Press Set.
Ex:

Use 4 (–) or e (+) to select a coded speed
dialing code (00 to 99).
Ex:
You can enter the coded speed dialing code (2-
digit) with the numeric keys after pressing Coded
Dial.
If a coded speed dialing code has already been
registered, the number registered under that code
appears.
If a group is already registered under a coded
speed dialing code, GROUP DIAL appears.

Press Set twice.

Use the numeric keys to enter the fax/
telephone number you want to register (max.
120 digits, including spaces and pauses).
Ex:
Press Space to enter a space and move the cursor
to the next digit. Spaces are optional and ignored
during dialing.
Press Redial/Pause to enter a pause.
If you make a mistake, move the cursor to the
incorrect number by pressing 4 (–) or e (+), and
press Delete repeatedly to delete the numbers one
by one. Or, press Clear to clear the entire entry.

Press Set twice.

Use the numeric keys to enter the name
that goes with the number (max. 16
characters, including spaces).
Ex:
If you are unsure how to enter characters,
p. 2-1.

Press Set.

To continue registering other coded speed
dialing codes, press Additional Functions
then repeat the procedure from Step 6.

Press Stop/Reset to return to the standby
display.
You can print the Coded Dial List showing
all the numbers and names registered for
coded speed dialing (pp. 3-8, 3-9). Keep
this list near your machine for easy
reference when dialing.
