Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
ā— The computer may need to be restarted, depending on the operating system, after the
installation. If this is necessary, be sure to restart the computer.
Installing the ISIS/TWAIN Driver
Connect the scanner to your computer.
ā— If another ISIS compatible driver is already installed on the computer, be sure to
make a backup of the following file. The content of this file may be overwritten when
the ISIS/TWAIN driver is installed.
Windows 2000
C:\WINNT\System32\Pix*.dll
C:\WINNT\Pixtran\*.*
Windows XP
C:\Windows\System32\Pix*.dll
C:\Windows\Pixtran\*.*

Turn ON your computer, and start Windows.
Be sure to log on as the administrator.

Insert the setup disc into the CD-ROM drive.
This manual assumes that ā€œDā€ is assigned to your CD-ROM drive.
