Press [Shift] to switch, the entry screen to capital letters.
7. Enter the new device name (or IP address), and
press [OK].
IMPORTANT
• The device name is the name used to identify the scanner on
the network. When changing this setting, make sure to select
a unique name that is different from those of all other devices.
• The device name can be a combination of letters (A-Z, a-z),
numbers (0-9), and hyphens (-) up to 15 characters long.
• The device name must begin with a letter. You cannot end the
device name with a hyphen.
8. Confirm the new device name and IP address, and
press [OK].
The [Device Configuration] screen appears.
Proceed to configure the date and time and confirm the
time zone.
