Chapter 7 ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400
• Locate ScanFront backup data at the same hierarchy level in
one folder.
• Because device management is performed based on the IP
address, be aware that if the IP address is changed by the
DHCP server, ScanFront backup files may be handled
incorrectly.
[Backup All Settings]
Save the backup data of all selected ScanFront scanners to
any location on the computer.
Hint
All configurable setting items will be backed up or restored,
excluding the following.
• All items in the [Network Setting] screen
• Date and time
• All items in the [Device Operation] screen
Also, the [Backup All Settings] button is not available in Web
application mode.
[Import User Data]

register it to all selected ScanFront scanners.
Hint
The [Import User Data] button is not available in Web
application mode.
[Export User Data]

any location on the computer.
Hint
The [Export User Data] button is not available in Web

example, of the ScanFront. When performing remote
operation via SSL communication, import a trusted
certificate to the ScanFront.
File format for SSL certificate: pfx
[Version Up]
Load ScanFront firmware stored on the computer, and
update the firmware version of all selected ScanFront
scanners.
IMPORTANT
If the network communication speed is slow, a timeout may
occur and the version update may fail.
[Reboot]
Restarts the ScanFront.
[Device detail setting]
You can set the wait times until the display turns off, and
until Low Power mode is activated.
IMPORTANT
If the version of the Web application is 3.2 or earlier, and if you
specify the wait time to Low Power mode as 150 minutes or
more, due to the API specification, “Error from ScanFront” is
displayed and the setting is rejected. Upgrade your Web
application to version 3.3 or later.
