The Print Plug-ins for Photoshop and Digital
Photo Professional enable 16-bit image pro-
cessing to dramatically improve gradations
and image quality. Digital Photo Front-
Access is a Canon developed utility to
import images from a camera, memory
card, USB, or other source and import
them into software applications such as
PosterArtist and Adobe Photoshop. The
system’s wide color gamut and durable
LUCIA inks reduce graininess, minimize
“bronzing” and produce realistic images
with richer, deeper tones that will last for
years to come.

When creating exact reproductions, the
imagePROGRAF printer’s high-resolution 2400
x 1200 dpi output and precise placement of
superfine 4pl droplets of ink mean that
museum-quality images can be printed with
absolute confidence. The 12-color ink set
provides an unprecedented color spectrum
to ensure reproductions are faithful to the
artist’s original.
PROOFING
With high-speed throughput, advanced
12-color imaging, and equipped with an
EFI Colorproof eXpress RIP, the iPF6200
printer is an efficient, accurate, and easy-to-
use proofing solution. The wide color gamut
enabled by the 12-color ink set means that
a greater range of colors can be reproduced.
The stability of Canon’s LUCIA pigmented
inks increase the reliability of the proof as the
prints will exhibit little or no perceptible color
shift. Canon’s patented 30,720-nozzle, 2400
x 1200 dpi print-head technology delivers
the clear images, smooth transitions, and
solid fills required for professional proofing
applications.
