Device Application Management Plug-in
Install, update, and uninstall MEAP applications with their respective
license to the device fl eet.
The optional Device Application Management Plug-in for
imageWARE Enterprise Management Console lets you
remotely install, update, and uninstall MEAP applications
on network connected devices on the network.
Using this Plug-in, you can:
• Centralize Application/License Management
Centralize application management with one single
interface. Install/uninstall applications for a batch of
devices. You can also update licenses from this plug-in
when the license for an application installed in your
devices has expired.
• Remotely Control Applications
You can start or stop applications installed within
your devices from this plug-in.
• Gather Device Application Inventory and Information
With the plug-in, you can check what applications are
installed in your devices as well as related application
information. The details can also be exported to a fi le
as necessary.
• Task-Based Management
This plug-in enables you to install and uninstall
applications using tasks. A task is a specifi ed set
of operations that are automatically executed at
the desired time and date.
System Requirements
The Device Application Management Plug-in must be
used with imageWARE Enterprise Management Console
and conforms to the same system requirements.
