Troubleshooting

Camera

Camera will not operate.

Power is not turned on. «Press the power button {Basic

Guide p. 5).

►Confirm that the memory card slot/

battery cover is securely closed

{Basic Guide p. 2).

► Insert a fully charged battery into the

camera {Basic Guide p. 2).

► Use the AC Adapter Kit ACK900

(sold separately) (p. 109).

► Polish the terminals with a soft

cotton swab before charging or

using the battery (p. 105).

Sounds come from the camera interior.

Memory card slot/battery

cover is open.

Insufficient battery

voltage ("Change the

battery pack" message

displays).

Poor contact between

camera and battery

terminals.

The camera's horizontal/

vertical orientation was

changed.

►The camera's orientation

mechanism is operating. There is no

malfunction.

When the power is turned on

"Card locked!" message appears.

The SD memory card's «When recording to, erasing from or

write protect tab is set to formatting the SD memory card,

"Write protect". slide the tab upward (p. 107).

The Date/Time menu appears.

The built-in rechargeable «Replace it at once with a charged

lithium battery charge is battery {Basic Guide p. 4).
