Mounting

on

the

Cameras

This lens can

be

mounted

or

dismounted

like

the

other

FD

lenses.

First

remove a

dust

cover

from

the bayonet ring, then

mount

the

lens

on the camera

body.

The bayonet ring

cannot

be rotated when the lens

is

dismounted

from

the camera

body

and

left

without

a dust

cover. When

the

lens

is

mounted

on

the

camera

or

the

dust

cover

has

been attached,

the

bayonet

ring can be rotated.

To

mount

the

lens on

the

camera

body,

please

rotate

this

bayonet

ring all

the

way

until

it

stops.

Filter Setting

There are

five

kinds

of

filters:

REGULAR

1

x,

UV

1 x, R 1

6x,

Y3

2x

and NO

4x.

The

filter

is

fixed

on the

holder

and

it

can

be

unlocked

by

pressing a pin

type

lock on the

filter's

top.

Simply

insert

the

filter

holder

into

the

filter

slot in the rear

part

of

the

lens barrel

to

automatically

lock

it

. When removing

the

filter

holder

from

the

lens barrel,

press

down

the lock pin

with

your

forefinger

and

pull

out

the

holder

using

your

thumb

and

middle

finger gripping

both

ends

of

the

holder.

Since this lens

is

designed

to

include

the

filter,

it

always

has

to

be

used

with

the

filter.

With

-

out

the

filter,

the

light

coming in may

affect

the

picture's

image. Therefore, even when

a

filter

effect

is

not

necessary,

the

filter,

REGULAR

lx

should

be

inserted.
