Some projectors in this range have an auto-source-select. THIS MUST BE DISABLED.
InFocus model: LP650, ASK: C200, Proxima: DP6500 Special “Aspect ratio set”
A special modification for this projector driver for theatre applications adds some special “source” types to allow users to select
the aspect ratio in S-Video and Video modes. (Two computer modes are still allowed for channels 1 and 2.) Three aspect
rations can be selected for each, i.e. “Native”, a small format 4:3, a 16:9 wide-screen, and a 4:3 full screen. These source types
must be allocated to channels 3, 4 and 5 for S-Video, and channels 6, 7 and 8, as shown in the table below.
To set them up, use the “Set Source for Channels” setup, and allocate the first two as computer channels, and the rest from the
special group of six at the end of the sources list (after the ‘Specials”).
In operation, after the source codes below are sent for S-Video and Video, the selected aspect ratio set codes are sent 1 second
later. (No Video 1 Component video YPbPr is provided for in this setup.)
