Message Description Action
Cannot input.
Change length or character size.
The specied character size or
segment length does not allow you
to input characters.
Change the segment length or
character size.
Don’t operate. 3 lines in the page. The page to be divided or
combined contains data entered on
three lines.
Edit or delete the pages on which
characters are entered on three
lines.
No character data. An attempt was made to print even
though no character data exists.
Input character data before
printing.
No media. An attempt was made to print
while no printing media has been
loaded.
Load the print media and then
press [Enter] to begin printing.
No Ribbon cassette. An attempt was made to print while
no ribbon cassette was installed.
Install a ribbon cassette.
End of media.
Pull out print media.
The end of the printing media
was reached while printing was in
progress.
Take out the printing media from
the printer, and replace it with new
printing media.
Replace print media. The printing media was removed
after the “End of media” message
was displayed.
Insert the new printing media
and then press [Enter] to resume
printing.
End of ribbon
Replace ribbon cassette.
The end of the ribbon cassette
was reached while printing was in
progress.
Install a new ribbon cassette,
and then press [Enter] to resume
printing.
Start of media not detect.
Remove media between print head
and cutter.
An operation was attempted while
the printing media was not inserted
properly.
A printing media is jammed
between the print head and cutter.
Take out the printing media, re-
install it correctly, and then press
[Enter].
Remove the printing media
between the print head and cutter,
and then press [Enter].
Cannot initialize print head
position.
It is impossible to initialize the
print head position for some
reason.
Press [Enter]. If the same message
appears again, contact your dealer.
Cannot move print head to print
position.
It is impossible to move the print
head to the printing position for
some reason.
Press [Enter]. If the same message
appears again, contact your dealer.
Cannot initialize cut position. It is impossible to initialize the
cutter position for some reason.
Press [Enter]. If the same message
appears again, contact your dealer.
Data check
Resetting completely
An error was found in the data for
some reason, so all of the data was
initialized.
Set up the printer functions again.
Check the saved data, and then
enter/save data again.
By the feeder connection, print
speed is middle.
Press any key.
A feeder is connected to the printer
which has been set up to print
characters in the “High” mode.
Characters are printed at the
middle speed.
Close cover and press any key. An operation was attempted while
the cover was open.
Close the cover and press any key.
Power turned off when saving le.
Checking saved data.
The power was turned off while a
le was being saved. Any bad data
will be deleted.
Check the saved les. Enter/save
again the data being input or the
le not saved.
Power turned off when loading
le. Resetting input data.
The power was turned off while a
le was being loaded. The input
data will be deleted.
Power turned off when deleting
le. Checking saved data.
The power was turned off while a
le was being deleted.
Check the saved les. Delete the
les that have not yet been deleted.
Tube feeder error. An error occurred in the optional
tube feeder due to some cause.
