There are two types of paper jams in the feeder.
■ Paper Jam in the Left feeder Cover (See p.6-4.)
■ Paper Jam in the Right feeder Cover (See p.6-6.)
Refer to the appropriate pages and remove any jammed paper.
Removing Jammed Originals in the RDF
Paper Jam in the Left feeder Cover
Open the left feeder cover, and remove all
originals from the original tray.

Open the left feeder cover completely, and
remove any jammed originals.

If a paper jam occurs in the left feeder cover, the
message to the right appears in the touch panel display.
Follow the procedure described below to remove any
jammed originals.
