When you specify multiple shots, image brightness and white
balance are determined by the rst shot. More time is required
between shots when the ash res or when you have specied to
take many shots. Shooting will stop automatically when the memory
card becomes full.
When a delay longer than two seconds is specied, two seconds
before the shot, the lamp blinking and self-timer sound will speed
up. (The lamp will remain lit in case the ash res.)

Deactivating the Flash
Prepare the camera for shooting without the ash as follows.
Press the <r> button several
times until [!] is displayed.
The ash will no longer be
activated.
To activate the ash, press
the <r> button again.
([
] is displayed.) The ash
will automatically re in low-light
conditions.
If a blinking [
] icon is displayed when you press the
shutter button halfway in camera-shake inducing, low-light
conditions, mount the camera on a tripod or take other
measures to keep it still.
