Extracting Frames of 4K Movies as Stills
● You can save a frame of a movie as a
still image by choosing [ ] in the movie
control panel in step 3 of “Removing the
Beginning/End of Movies” (
=
79).
Reducing File Sizes
Movie le sizes can be reduced by compressing movies as follows.
● On the screen in step 4 of “Removing
the Beginning/End of Movies” (
=
79),
choose [ ], and then choose [New le].
● Choose [Compress & sav.].

● Edited movies cannot be saved in compressed format when you
choose [Overwrite].

Review the edited movie.
● Choose [ ] to play the edited movie.
● To edit the movie again, repeat step 4.
● To cancel editing, press the
button.

Save the edited movie.
● Choose [ ] and then [New le].
● Choose [Save w/o comp.].
● The movie is now saved as a new le.
● To overwrite the original movie with the cut one, choose
[Overwrite] in step 6. In this case, the original movie will be
erased.
● If the memory card lacks sufcient space, only [Overwrite] will be
available.
● Movies may not be saved if the battery pack runs out while saving
is in progress.
● When editing movies, you should use a fully charged battery
pack.
